Participatory Picturebooks
Picturebooks are colourful texts that invite readers into vast worlds. Participatory Picturebooks engage people not only as readers of these texts but also creators.
We create picturebooks with communities (often driven by youth groups) so they can tell their own narratives on food availability, access and use. Using visual and written narrative, these books offer an important way for youth (who are often framed as passive in food security discourses) to lead inter-generational discussion and convey their own experiences and knowledge.
